Transfer agreements with other Colleges and Universities in New Hampshire and beyond and transfer advisors to work one-on-one to help you with the process. Great Bay is one of the largest transfer feeder schools to the University of New Hampshire.

2 Campuses

The main campus is in Portsmouth, NH at the Pease Tradeport and the second is located in Rochester, NH.

State of the Art Facilities

The campus in Rochester includes advanced manufacturing, CNC, NDT and welding labs outfitted with equipment used in industry. The Portsmouth campus includes designated lab spaces for life sciences, nursing, veterinary technology, computer technology, surgical technology and information systems technology. Both campuses offer high tech classrooms and ample space for students to study and gather.

5 Athletic Teams

Teams include men’s basketball and baseball and women’s basketball, volleyball and softball as well as men’s and women’s golf. GBCC is a member of the Yankee Small College Conference (YSCC) within the United States Collegiate Athletic Association (USCAA).

The newest exhibit at our Gateway Gallery, “Concentric Circles” features the work of Thomas Devaney, GBCC Professor, Fine Arts / Digital Media and his colleague Chrissy Theo Hungate, a fine artist working in drawing, painting, sculpture and mixed media. The two met at Boston University where they both earned their Bachelor of Arts degrees in Sculpture. After many years, they've come together, making this the first time they exhibited their artwork together since their senior show at Boston University. A reception with the artists will be on Thursday May2nd from 4 to 6.

The month of April is Child Abuse Prevention Month. In recognition, yesterday, the Early Childhood Education program hosted, Nathan Fink from @nhchildrenstrust who presented “We Are Prevention: Building a Hopeful Future Together” providing insight on how we can eliminate child abuse.

As part of the event, ECE students planted a Pinwheel Garden on the from lawn of GBCC. The pinwheels are Prevent Child Abuse America’s symbol that all children should have a happy and healthy childhood and are “planted” throughout the month of April to bring awareness and inspire action to help prevent child abuse.

Last week, second semester Nursing program students impressed the public and members of the Nursing Advisory Committee last week as they presented their Community Health Poster Presentations. Kudos for for their info and topic knowledge.
