Program Overview
During this course you will gain experience with drawing blood and finger pricks, skills needed to obtain employment as a phlebotomy technician or specimen processing technician.
After successful completion of the program and national certification for Certified Phlebotomy Technician (CPT) you will be able to apply for jobs in hospitals, clinics, laboratories, blood donation centers and other healthcare facilities. You may also work in mobile blood donation units or in-home healthcare settings.
Program Details
National Certification
Upon successful completion of the program, students are eligible to sit for the Certified Phlebotomy Technician (CPT) certification exam through the National Healthcareer Association (NHA).
Program Requirements:
- Age 18 & older
- High School Diploma, GED or HiSet
- Proof of Hepatitis B (10 days prior to start of class)
- Completed Application
- Resume
- Interview
Program Schedule:
- 8 weeks, 2-days/week, Tuesdays and Thursdays, 8AM-12PM

- April8-May 29, 2025
- July 1-August 21, 2025
- September 23-November 14, 2025
