Students will use a fully integrated, hands-on approach to understand the use of computer technology in the Veterinary setting. Students will gain proficiency in the Windows operating system environment, and learn the elements of Veterinary application software. Students will also explore software applications relevant to veterinary practice including word processing, spreadsheets, and presentation software. Students will explore various facets of the Internet as used in veterinary practice for research, client education and information.
Prerequisite: Admission to the Veterinary Technology program.
