This course explores the linear systems of equations, matrix operations, determinants, linear dependency, vector spaces, linear transformations, eigenvalues and orthogonality. Construction of mathematical reasoning using induction and contradiction are integrated into the course curriculum. Prerequisite: Satisfactory placement test scores as defined by mathematics faculty, or MATH230G with a grade of ā€œCā€ or better, or with math department approval. Fall semester
