This course is designed to introduce students to ethnic and cross-cultural differences in the norms, values, perceptions, and behaviors as they impact personal lives in interpersonal skills. Introducing students to these differences will facilitate communication and cooperation within relationships where the participants come from very different backgrounds and/or ethnic cultures. This course is appropriate and will serve as an elective for professionals and paraprofessionals in business, human services, nursing, early childhood education, gerontology, and criminal justice. (Fulfills Social Science requirement.) Spring semester
