Leslie Barber holds degrees in Chemistry, Molecular Biology, and has done post-doctoral work in Genetics. A past Chair of the Life Sciences Department, Barber is currently a Mellon Faculty Fellow for the Community College System, and a member of the Leadership team for the New Hampshire Humanities Council. She has been the program leader for several system-wide grant programs including NH-INBRE, NH_EPSCoR, and ARMI. Barber was the founding chair of the Chancellor’s Faculty Academic Advisory Council.
