Bio
Cindy Walton graduated Summa Cum Laude with a bachelor’s degree in English and went on to earn a master’s in English as well. Walton is currently Chair of the English Department, Writing Coordinator, and the faculty advisor for the college’s literary magazine, The Heron. She began at Great Bay as an adjunct faculty member and was awarded the Most Outstanding Adjunct award before becoming a fulltime professor in 2013. In 2019, she received the Chancellor’s Award for Teaching Excellence.
