ROCHESTER and PORTSMOUTH – Great Bay Community College will be hosting an Open House from 4-6 p.m., Thursday, January 5th at their Portsmouth campus at the Pease International Tradeport and at their campus in Rochester, the Advanced Technology & Academic Center. Attendees will have the opportunity to learn about over 50 degree and certificate programs including new degree programs in Bioengineering, Analytics, History, English, Psychology, Fine Arts and certificate programs in Practical Data Science. New short-term certificate programs will be offered starting this January at the College’s Rochester center in Nondestructive Testing, Medical Assisting, Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning, CNC and Supervision & Business Communication.

At the open house, the admissions staff will be on hand to answer questions and assist with the application process and campus tours will be offered throughout the event. The $20 application fee will be waived for all Open House attendees. Advisors will be available to discuss transfer partnership programs with four year colleges and universities including the dual admissions program with the University System of New Hampshire. Representatives will also be on hand from the College’s Center for Academic Planning and Support and Financial Aid office as well as the free WorkReadyNH employability initiative designed to enhance the workplace skills. Information will also be available on non-credit program offerings through the College’s Business and Training Center. The event is free to the public and refreshments will be served.
