Massage Therapy Clinic at GBCC Now Accepting Appointments
Affordable massage therapy available in a professional, supervised learning environment
The Massage Therapy Clinic at Great Bay Community College (GBCC) will open the week of February 2 on the College’s Portsmouth campus. Members of the public may begin scheduling appointments on January 28 by calling (603) 427-7646.
Massage sessions are provided by students enrolled in GBCC’s Massage Therapy Certificate Program and are supervised by a licensed instructor. Each appointment is one hour in length and includes 50 minutes of hands-on massage therapy, with additional time allotted for client intake, questions, and safe transitioning on and off the table.
The Massage Therapy Clinic serves as a teaching facility and offers a professional setting where students practice a variety of techniques, including Swedish massage, sports massage, myofascial release, acupressure, and trigger point therapy under supervision.
Massage therapy is widely integrated into conventional healthcare and is commonly used in sports medicine, hospitals, physical therapy clinics, physicians’ and chiropractic offices, spa and resort settings, gyms, and acupuncture clinics. According to the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics, employment of massage therapists is projected to grow 15 percent from 2024 to 2034. Massage Therapy is a great choice for anyone interested in alternative or preventative health care.
Clinic Schedule
Appointments are available now through May 7, 2026, with a maximum of two appointments per client per month, during the following times:
Mondays: 2:15 p.m., 3:30 p.m., 4:45 p.m.
Tuesdays: 1:00 p.m., 2:15 p.m., 3:30 p.m.
Wednesdays: 1:45 p.m., 3:00 p.m., 4:15 p.m.
Thursdays: 1:45 p.m., 3:00 p.m., 4:15 p.m.

Cost
$5 – GBCC students (with valid student ID)
$10 – GBCC alumni, staff, and faculty
$30 – General public
