At Great Bay Community College, we offer the necessary space to promote the students’ growth and professional development through educational, recreational, cultural, and social programming.
The Student Success Center is the home to the Gymnasium, Concession Stand, Fitness Room & Locker Rooms, Heron’s Nest Food Pantry, Campus Cupboard, Student Lounge, Pool & Foosball Tables, Community guitar & piano, the Student Government Association’s Office, Meeting & Study Space, and a bright, comfortable lounge for students to meet and hang out.

Intramural Sports
In addition to our intercollegiate athletic teams, we offer you opportunities to play sports at a non-competitive level. Intramurals including indoor soccer/Futsal, basketball, volleyball, and flag football are a great way to try a new sport, meet other students, or just have fun after a busy week of classes!
Fitness Room & Locker Rooms
Our state-of-the-art Fitness Center provides students with the opportunity to exercise before, after, and between your classes. We offer a variety of cardiovascular, resistance training, and free-weight equipment. Locker rooms are available within the Fitness Center to change and shower after your workout.
Also located within the Fitness Center, our Campus Cupboard is the on-site student food pantry that provides food and personal hygiene items for those students who have immediate needs. Whether you need breakfast, lunch, or a snack, the mission of the Campus Cupboard is to ‘Feed Our Students for Success’ while they are on campus. The Campus Cupboard is open Monday through Friday.
Student Life Lounge
The Student Success Center lounge area has a large sunny lobby space with comfortable chairs, tables and couches for students to sit and chat, get work done, or charge technology. The lounge also has a large space for students to enjoy the pool table and Foosball table.
Students are welcome to hang out in the lounge area in groups or come to meet other GBCC students. It is a beautiful, welcoming, and exciting place for students to spend time when they are not in class!
Student Life is where you can go to find out what is happening on campus and how you can participate in clubs and events.
Pool & Foosball Tables
Students are welcome to use the pool table and foosball tables any time the campus is open. The pool and foosball table are a great place to meeting other current students and future friends!

Study Space
Whether students are looking for a quiet place to study or a space for groups to meet, The Student Success Center offers options! Study areas includes space with two new computers in the Student Government office, the Lounge area, and a quiet conference room that can accompany up to ten students. Student Government Association (SGA) Office
The SGA Office provides all students with access to a photocopier and printer, two new computers, study space, and mail boxes and supplies for GBCC Athletics, Clubs and Organizations. The SGA Office is available for use any time the campus is open.
Gymnasium
The Student Success Center is the home to the gymnasium which is used for men’s & women’s basketball, volleyball, intramural sports, and other student activities. Students are welcome to use the gym any time the campus is open and when it is not in use by GBCC athletic teams. By the way, shooting hoops in the gym between classes is a campus favorite!
