What Sets Great Bay Apart

Academic Excellence

Over fifty degree and certificate programs in healthcare, business, STEM, and liberal arts taught by credentialed faculty with years of experience in higher education and industry.

Support to Succeed

Admissions counselors, academic advisors, tutors and staff members from our award winning Center for Academic Planning and Support (CAPS) working one-on-one to ensure student success.

Transfer Pathways

Transfer agreements with other Colleges and Universities in New Hampshire and beyond and transfer advisors to work one-on-one to help you with the process. Great Bay is one of the largest transfer feeder schools to the University of New Hampshire.

2 Campuses

The main campus is in Portsmouth, NH at the Pease Tradeport and the second is located in Rochester, NH.

State of the Art Facilities

The campus in Rochester includes advanced manufacturing, CNC, NDT and welding labs outfitted with equipment used in industry. The Portsmouth campus includes designated lab spaces for life sciences, nursing, veterinary technology, computer technology, surgical technology and information systems technology. Both campuses offer high tech classrooms and ample space for students to study and gather.

5 Athletic Teams

Teams include men’s basketball and baseball and women’s basketball, volleyball and softball as well as men’s and women’s golf. GBCC is a member of the Yankee Small College Conference (YSCC) within the United States Collegiate Athletic Association (USCAA).

If I could identify one thing that made a difference, it would be Great Bay. I talk all the time about how much Great Bay changed my life and gave me a huge foundation. I am incredibly grateful for my time there.

Tomorrow, June 19th, we will be closed in observance of Juneteenth. Among other things, the day commemorates a rightful end to slavery in this country. Looking for ways to celebrate the day? Check out events like this year’s community freedom walk hosted by The Seacoast African American Cultural Center, Green Acre Bahai Center of Learning and the Seacoast NAACP.

Happy Father's Day to all those Dads - especially some who are hardworking students here at GBCC!
I believe that through studying for my English degree, I have become a more open-minded, sympathetic and empathetic person.
