This spring, Elizabeth Gardner will graduate from Great Bay Community College’s Nursing program as part of the Class of 2026.
Inspired by her mother, Ann, who graduated from the same program in 2022, Elizabeth followed a path shaped by determination, family support, and perseverance. While balancing nursing school, work, and raising her child, she found encouragement from faculty and the GBCC community every step of the way.
Her story is a powerful reminder that there is no single path to success and that support can make all the difference.

At a breakfast held this morning, students had the opportunity to connect with alumni and healthcare professionals as they prepare to enter the field as surgical technologists working alongside surgeons and operating room teams.
Graduates are heading to hospitals and surgical centers across the region and beyond, including Wentworth-Douglass Hospital, Portsmouth Regional Hospital, Anna Jaques Hospital, York Hospital, Parkland Medical Center, St. Joseph Hospital, and surgical centers in Austin, Texas.
Many students were hired directly through their clinical rotations, a reflection of the strength of GBCC’s Surgical Technology program and the skills students bring into the field from day one.

The Great Bay P.A.C. (Pride Alliance Club) teamed up with the Board Game and Art Club to host a karaoke session today, and it delivered. Music, laughs, and a little stress relief right when it was needed most.
Always great to see students coming together like this.
