Tutoring at Great Bay

Great Bay Community College offers tutoring on both the Portsmouth and Rochester campuses in a variety of formats through the Center for Academic Planning and Support (CAPS). These services are FREE of charge to students enrolled in a credit-bearing class. CAPS employs both peer and professional tutors dedicated to helping students succeed, become independent and interdependent learners, and reach their academic goals.

One-on-One Peer Tutoring

Schedule a one-hour session by appointment in CAPS (Rm 210) or through online requests.   Subjects include but are not limited to: Math, English, Biology, Chemistry, Accounting, Business, Computers, TEAS, Study Skills.

Drop-In Centers for Math & Writing

Drop in with a peer or professional tutor.  No appointment needed!  Drop-in hours are subject to last-minute changes due to tutor illness or personal emergency. Call 603-427-7715 before you leave your house to confirm on campus tutor availability.

Other Resources

GBCC Online Tutoring can be accessed through your Canvas organizations.  Submit a paper and get feedback without having to come to campus.
